Why trucking
Freight is where autonomy pays for itself first.
Long-haul trucking is the backbone of the supply chain and one of its most constrained parts: a shortage of drivers, routes run at the edge of hours-of-service limits, and a safety record that costs thousands of lives a year. Highway driving is also the most structured environment on the road, which makes it the right place to deploy autonomy with rigour.
Stack builds the whole system for that problem - the AI that perceives and plans, the compute and firmware it runs on, the tools that test it, and the operations that put it on the road with commercial freight on the trailer.

Built by people who have shipped autonomy.
Stack's founders led Argo AI, and before that spent decades at Carnegie Mellon and in field robotics. The team they are assembling has the same profile: engineers and operators with real systems behind them, working on a problem nobody has finished.
